EXA 2025

The Energy eXchange Australia (EXA) 2025, formerly known as AOG, is one of the region’s premier events for energy, technology, and innovation. Taking place in Perth from March 11-13, EXA brought together industry leaders, engineers, and decision-makers to explore the latest advancements in offshore and onshore energy solutions.

ScoutDI was proud to be part of this dynamic event, showcasing our latest technology for safer and more efficient industrial inspections.

Scout 137 Drone System

The Scout 137 Drone System is designed for confined-space inspections in industrial environments like storage tanks, pressure vessels, cargo holds, and offshore structures. Featuring unlimited flight time via a tether, advanced SLAM-based navigation, and real-time data capture, the system enables safe and efficient remote inspections in GPS-denied and low-light environments.

Delivering high-resolution imagery, 3D mapping, and Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements (UTM), the Scout 137 drastically reduces the need for costly scaffolding, rope access, and human entry into hazardous spaces. This is especially valuable for large assets or hard-to-reach areas, where traditional inspections can be time-consuming and logistically complex.

With its BVLOS capabilities, operators can conduct long-duration inspections without battery limitations, ensuring comprehensive data collection in a single deployment. The ability to quickly assess structural integrity from a safe distance enhances operational efficiency, minimizes downtime, and improves workplace safety—making it an invaluable tool for maintenance teams worldwide.

Paired with the Scout Portal, the system provides a complete end-to-end solution for data management and analysis. All captured inspection data, 3D models, and measurement reports are automatically uploaded and organized, allowing inspectors, engineers, and stakeholders to review, analyze, and collaborate from anywhere in the world.

This seamless integration of drone-captured data and cloud-based analytics ensures that critical insights are always accessible, improving decision-making and inspection planning across industries.

LIVE demos

At EXA 2025, we had a full Scout 137 Drone System on display at Booth J-15 in the Norway Pavilion. Visitors got an up-close look at the hardware and learned how our technology integrates into existing inspection workflows. Our team demonstrated the system’s capabilities and discussed real-world applications.

For attendees, we offered LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS of the Scout 137 Drone System at the event venue, showing firsthand how our system enables safe and efficient inspections in confined spaces. The sessions started at our booth, J-15 in the Norwegian Pavilion, before a quick walk to the nearby demo location to see our technology in action.
